Flows exist on many levels. The migration of birds has a flow. Electricity has a flow. Blood flows, breath flows, time flows. There is a flow from ice to water to steam. There is a flow from grandmother to mother to daughter. And there is a flow through the subtle architecture of our awareness as we meditate.
You may have noticed that we breathe light into the mind, the feeling nature, the body, and our sense of self at the end of each meditation within the Practice of Living Awareness. This act is acknowledging our subtle architecture and the flow of consciousness into and out of our being as we meditate. We ponder this at the beginning of this sitting and then take it into meditation. Enjoy!
