Second only to our capacity to consistently release breath (and receive breath), is our capacity to release sound in the form of words… talking, talking, and more talking. We are creative beings. Our words are our thoughts made manifest… and we use our words to build conversations, and we use our conversations to co-create – to build our reality. So, what are you building with your words?

That said, releasing the need to speak allows for observation. It creates space. “Those who do not understand your silence will probably not understand your words,” said the writer, Elbert Hubbard. Softening and opening to silence allows for a certain presence to embody your words when they are released. Enjoy the silence, enjoy the spoken word. Happy meditating.
