The Festival of Light, Wesak, is underway and celebrated worldwide on the May full moon in recognition of the Buddha’s divine presence of love and light. As legend has it, every year at the exact time of the full moon, he appears in a sacred valley in the Himalayas before a group of disciples to perform a ceremony which radiates his blessing through the world. Click here to read an interesting account of the ways in which the Buddha’s annual visit affects our world, and more specifically, our new world education. May it be so.
Our meditation today acknowledges the receptive ground that is our being and aligns it to the light of the group meditative field which is building this week. Enjoy.
