We may not always be able to choose what comes our way, but we can always choose how we respond to it. When you smile, you trigger endorphins in the brain and as you practice this choice, you train your brain’s synapses to go the route of responding to life rather than reacting to it. A softer, gentler you is what we’re going for… at least most of the time. Happy meditating.
