Human being. Being human. Being still. Still being. Being grounded. Grounded being. Yes, meditation accentuated all of these states of being.
We have spent the last several steps working with the mind. For Step 11, we acknowledge this precious fact: the awareness that we have generated by consciously engaging various aspects of the mind would not be possible if it weren’t for this incredible vessel that is our body, our being, and for the ground upon which our it expresses.
As above, so below. We will bring this simple truth into meditation this week. In the meantime, the very best introduction to Ground of Being that we can present is this song… take off your shoes, put it on, turn it up… and dance!
