Step #2, Tip of the Nose – Day 1 We meet here again to meditate. Wonderful! Meeting places can be quite specific. Perhaps you have readied yourself for meditation in a specific place; perhaps a designated “peace” zone for an allotted time each week which allows for quiet reflection, your own specific meditation place.
This week we are going to explore another very specific meeting place: the tip of the nose. This is where air becomes breath and visa versa. Or even more specifically, this is where the air from the room first meets your body on an inhale and becomes your breath; and where your breath on the exhale leaves your body and meets the air in the room. The tip of the nose also happens to be a great place to rest your attention, a place where your focus meets the expanse of awareness.
