Step #3, Flow – Day 3 Molten magma from deep in the Archean Earth flowed to the surface to create vast expanses of land which allowed for life on the planet to move from the sea and diversify. As in the photo above, when fiery lava hits the water it turns from liquid to gas in the form of steam and flows into the atmosphere. Whether it is a change in state from liquid to gas or a change in the expression of lifeforms from sea creatures to land dwellers, change is an absolute constant on this planet. And as Earth is the stage for our experience, change is a constant for us as well… in every way. Our thoughts change and evolve, our bodies change with age, emotions arise and dissipate. The key to making the most of this factor is flow. How do you exist within your evolution? Harmoniously? Or discordantly? With ease or with resistance? We take this into meditation today.
Note: If you are new to The Practice of Living Awareness and would like to use these guided meditations as a formal training, you may want to look for the dropdown tab titled “FULL PRACTICE” on the blog’s menu bar under the tab “Practice of Living Awareness.” The entire last round of online meditations is there. These particular meditations are presented as an introductory training to the practice. Happy meditating!
