Heart-Mind Meditation – Day 2 May the spirit of the day fill your heart with peace and goodwill. There is no better day than today to practice a loving kindness meditation. As we focus on family, loved ones and our fellow human beings, may the quality of unconditional love permeate every thought and action. On behalf of Spirit Fire, we wish you a very merry Christmas.
The words to this guided meditation are printed below. Each stanza is read three times, silently or aloud. We start with ourselves. This is the way of all positive change… we begin with ourselves. Interestingly, this can sometimes be difficult. Once we take action to establish well-being in our own lives, we find we have the ability to offer it to others in earnest… this is the second stanza. Then in an act of pure spirit, the third stanza holds the space of loving kindness for all sentient beings.
Loving Kindness Meditation:
May I be filled with loving kindness. May I be well. May I know peace and ease. May I be happy.
May you be filled with loving kindness. May you be well. May you know peace and ease. May you be happy.
May all beings be filled with loving kindness. May all beings be well. May all beings know peace and ease. May all beings be happy.
