What happens when you resolve to spend more time in nature in 2020 and three days have gone by in 2020 and you still haven’t been for a walk outside after work? Life happens. What happens when you resolve to nourish your body with healthy foods in 2020 and three days in you’ve already started the day off with sugary cereal? Life happens. What happens when you resolve to set aside time each evening for creativity in 2020 and instead you’ve filled all of your free time by watching endless episodes of The Great British Baking Show? Life happens! And then life happens again.
Life is often more about our relationship to the choices we make rather than the choices themselves. Your life is in motion and some choices may seem rote. A healthy, nourishing, and creative approach to each choice we make, whether we label that choice good or bad, leads to growth and positive change. Meditate on in it!
