Flowing in the Zone



Step #3, Flow – Day 3  How you ever watched a jazz musician become the music as if they were a mere channel for spontaneous audible genius from on high? Have you ever watched a gymnast tuck, twirl, flip and fly through the air in ways that seem to defy physics?  When these performers are expressing at very high levels of potential and creativity, they are inhabiting a space referred to as “the zone.” Their minds are fully connected to the current activity and their attention is completely absorbed in the present moment without the mental burden of worry, doubt, indecision, or fear about the results. They often reach their goal at peak performance and they all report it feels completely and utterly amazing. We call that meditative flow and it is accessible to all of us.

Today we’ll have creative fun with a non-traditional meditation sitting. Happy flow!
