Step # 9, Mind Meditation- Day 3   Awareness is omnipresent; it just is. Our mind operates within the field of awareness and wisdom precipitates from it. As we create stability in the mind through non-judgmental attention (mindfulness + concentration), we create a doorway into the vast field of awareness. This doorway can easily become obstructed or even slammed shut by the mind’s propensity for distractions, storylines, and rote thought-forms, along with the feelings and imagery they produce. Through practicing meditation, we can float like a bird riding the thermals, gliding effortlessly in the vastitude. As we become this spaciousness, the mind in turn becomes the doorway though which intuition and inspiration arrive. Hang there for a while.
