Ground of Being Meditation – Day 2 “Whatever affects one directly, affects all indirectly. I can never be what I ought to be until you are what you ought to be. This is the interrelated structure of reality.” — Martin Luther King, Jr.
Perhaps you’ve chosen to meditate to get closer to the truth of things… what they ought to be. Perhaps closer to your truth, to support the becoming of what you ought to be while simultaneously supporting the becoming of what others ought to be. This is interconnectedness and it is, indeed, the byproduct of the interrelated structure of reality. We are designed to connect: to the moment, to ourselves, to others, to the earth, to ideas and concepts.
You have landed on firm ground. Enjoy.
