Flowing Forward


Flow Meditation – Day 1  

We begin a new week and welcome a new theme: flow. With Spring upon us and the whole world ready for day-to-day life to come to a more recognizable flow, we are considering the concept of “flow” and its impact on our lives, our psyche, and our well-being. The flow of time. The flow of air. The flow of people. The flow of resources. Something so simple has become so complex.

We often refer to this quote from the Tao Te Ching within the Practice of Living Awareness: “Life is a series of natural and spontaneous changes. Don’t resist them; that only creates sorrow. Let reality be reality. Let things flow naturally forward in whatever way they like.”  As we flow into our third week of this series, we ponder the number three and the ways in which it generates momentum.
