Let Things Flow

Flow – Day 1:  We begin a new week and welcome a new theme: flow. Perhaps global conditions for the last year and a half have brought the concept of flow and its impact on our lives, our psyche, and our well-being to the forefront of our minds in new and sometimes urgent ways: the flow of time; the flow of air; the flow of resources. Something so simple has become so complex.

“Life is a series of natural and spontaneous changes. Don’t resist them; that only creates sorrow. Let reality be reality. Let things flow naturally forward in whatever way they like.” We will take the message of this quote from the Tao Te Ching into meditation today as a way of generating gentle acceptance for what’s happening here and now; right now, in the body and mind.

Today we’ll go for simple and gentle. Going with the flow. Happy meditating.
