Inviting Flow

“Life is a series of natural and spontaneous changes. Don’t resist them; that only creates sorrow. Let reality be reality. Let things flow naturally forward in whatever way they like.”

– Lao Tzu, author of Tao Te Ching

As we know all too well by looking out of our windows onto the world, there is a time to take a stand, to act, and to say, “No!” There is also a time to allow, to acquiesce, and to simply be with reality as it is. Practicing both in their appropriate time-space is healthy and realistic. Meditation allows us to notice where we feel resistance and where we feel flow; it also offers us the opportunity to try out various responses to both. It’s all here…  in this guided meditation.
