Perfect, Whole, and Complete

“In the infinity of life where I am, all is perfect, whole, and complete.”

Now that is a luminous perception! The perception aspect is as much about receiving as it is about seeing. Our eyes see by receiving light in the same way that our mind “sees” by receiving light. “Seeing the light” means you’ve taken it all in—you totally get it.

Jazz musicians often talk about being “in the zone” where improvisation takes over. In this space, the mind is receiving its creative instruction from on high, well beyond the brain following sheet music or a memorized tune. The mind becomes luminous in this higher space; spontaneous cycles of evocation and invocation generate the light of artistic inspiration.

In meditation, the mind becomes a vessel in much the same way. We can rest a luminous seed thought within it—simply place a high vibration sentence, word, or phrase into the space of the mind—and allow it to effloresce.

In this meditation, we plant the seed thought, “In the infinity of life where I am, all is perfect, whole, and complete.” From here, the mind is free to improvise.

Enjoy!
