Toroidal flow is related to the spiral flow of everything from the water going down a drain to the spiral arms of our galaxy. It is also related to the cyclical nature of life. from the coming and going of days to the coming and going of breath. The heart is a perfect example of toroidal flow. It facilitates the constant dynamic cyclical exchange of blood throughout our entire body. Our chakras are another perfect example of toroidal flow. They facilitate the constant dynamic cyclical exchange of energy that produces the experience of being human.
This week we will work with the torus which is “a self-organizing system that comes together at a single point of unity and expands its energy outward in every direction, all around itself, until it returns back to that space in the center… and will continue to do so.” Water, galaxies, chakras, the human heart… ah, the beauty of the self-organizing system!
