Welcoming Awareness

 This is the final week of postings for this round of meditations. If you’ve been with us for the last thirteen weeks, congratulations on setting the intention to develop a working and sustainable meditation practice—it’s called a meditation “practice” for a reason.

As we arrive at our fourteenth week together, meditation has done its work because you have done yours. Every meditation practice requires a bit of time, effort, and dedication; but more importantly, it requires your choosing to give yourself something which only you can give: the gift of welcoming awareness into your day to day life.

As that choice moves to the forefront in your daily experience, you become part of the dynamic energy that changes worlds. That energy is called conscious participation. Instantaneously, life itself—your life—becomes a practice of living awareness.
