One is best off experiencing the answer for oneself, however the short answer is this:
- through the rhythmic mantra of “I am breathing in; I am breathing out,” the sense of self is drawn to the simple truth of the moment. In so doing, the fabrications around the current moment by which the sense of self is dramatized, fed, and reified in an ongoing way, is nulled. Through conscious breathing the phantasm of the self is dissolved!
- through the sensations of breathing, one experiences the tremendous flawless simplicity of life. Life is this breath, being alive is this breathing; and when the purpose of this form of life expression (incarnation) is complete, breath will stop, life in this form will stop. We will die. The simplicity is profound because conscious breathing is the experience of LIFE.
