Developing peace in the mind-stuff (chitta)

I want to remind meditation practitioners of the weekly discussion of the Yoga Sutras of Patanjali that are posted on Blazing Light, my blog. Patanjali was an enlightened teacher who gave the world the system of yoga and codified meditation practice. Siddhartha Gautama then used that system to bring meditation to a whole new level: supreme enlightenment possible in this life.

Meditation and the peace of the chitta (the monkey mind or mind stuff) is the focus of this short (6 min.) podcast excerpt. The Light of the Soul discussion group uses Alice Bailey’s commentary of the Yoga Sutras as the base for our conversation.
