It has been said of the Aquarian Age (which we’ve just tiptoed into), “This coming age will be as predominantly the age of group interplay and group consciousness, as the Piscean Age has been one of personality unfoldment and personality emphasis.”
It’s a big move from self-knowledge and self-identification to group knowledge and group identification… a move that is central to the Wisdom Teachings. It highlights the spiritual significance of the “inclusive endeavor toward human betterment, uplift, and understanding,” or the task of developing “will-to-good” on Earth. Let’s hope it doesn’t take the allotted 2,160 years for this to play out!
All of that said—for today—it is a fact that as we learn to cooperate, participate, and open ourselves up to the goodness within our shared experience, we evolve. Perhaps consciousness wants to support this, and perhaps the Aquarian Age wants to support this; nonetheless, we do our part by coming to observe and understand the ways in which our choices, responses, and perceptions either help or hinder our progress.
