Our practice continues this week with the opportunity to explore the experience of release.
Softening, opening, and receiving naturally moves into softening, opening, and releasing. Once again, the breath leads the way: it’s an honest rhythm that asks for nothing in return—only our participation.
Whether we are walking or talking, swinging or singing, dancing or glancing, running or sunning, giggling or wiggling, napping or clapping—life is full of tiny exchanges. We take in, we let go. We gather, we give back. Could it be that releasing makes receiving possible by creating space for the new? It certainly sounds a lot like the breath… and perhaps a lot like living.
Happy meditating.
