Softness

More wisdom from Lao Tzu’s Tao Te Ching:

“Water is fluid, soft, and yielding. But water will wear away rock, which is rigid and cannot yield. As a rule, whatever is fluid, soft, and yielding will overcome whatever is rigid and hard. This is another paradox: what is soft is strong.”

Soften to the truth of that statement and feel the power. The wintery ground must soften to take in melting snow and summon life-force to the surface to meet the spring sun. There is great power in softening so as to open, and opening so as to receive.

Happy meditating.
