
This week’s theme is an invitation to come back down to earth in a very literal way. Today, we’ll explore that through walking meditation.
You have feet that touch the earth and legs that carry you forward. You have life. That may sound obvious, but in meditation, even the obvious can become luminous. To pause and feel your feet on the ground beneath you is no small thing. It is a direct experience of being here. It is a sweet reminder that awareness doesn’t float somewhere above life—it moves with life and through life. Awareness is on the earth and of the earth, not unlike yourself.
Today, simply walk. Let the body reveal something about presence. And perhaps, by the end of the meditation, you’ll feel just a little more here, a little more supported. Ground of Being is reverence: reverence for being a human being on the earth, taking one step and then another.
