The image of the lily pad and lotus flower is such a good depiction of the life path. Just as the lily pad starts deep in the muck of the pond, sprouting a stem and unfolding into a glorious lotus flower, we start in the depths of the womb and work our way into the light, breathing, growing and becoming. Truthfully, we are always ‘becoming’ because the path never ends. How exciting – the possibility of stretching constantly into newness, adjusting, integrating and stretching again into becoming more of who we are. Feel your roots in the earth and your roots in the sky, knowing you are all of that!
